Dan Koehler is February Employee Of The Month

POPLAR BLUFF, MO- Schultz and Summers Engineering is pleased to announce the February employee of the month was Dan Koehler from the Poplar Bluff office. Owner Stan Schultz said, “It is always hard to pick an employee of the month because we have so many talented and hardworking individuals at SSE but Dan helped make the first quarter of 2011 one of the most successful in our company’s history.”

February Employee of the month Dan Koehler has just celebrated his 9^th anniversary with SSE. Dan wears many hats for the company but mainly focuses on construction inspection and managing the growing fleet of company trucks. Dan said “My favorite thing about working at SSE is the customers I get to work with. The elected officials and utility operators in the towns and cities all over Southeast Missouri are wonderful people and having a job with a company that wants to help them better serve their citizens is very rewarding.”

Dan, his wife Pam along with their two daughters live in Doniphan, Missouri. Before joining SSE he worked at Gates Industries and was an independent construction contractor. At the completion of the new Hayti Water plant Hayti Mayor Bobby Watkins said this about Dan’s work, “Dan Koehler has represented SSE and the City of Hayti wonderfully, because without him this project would not have gone a smooth as it has. You caught a lot of things that could have caused problems and cost us a lot of money down the road but you caught them ahead of time and I want to give you a personal thank you. You did a super job!”

In honor of Dan being awarded February employee of the month SSE will donate $100 on his behalf to the United Cerebral Palsy fund. The UCP conducts research and supports families who are dealing with Cerebral Palsy.
